In order to become a member of the NTGPG you will need to fill in a Membership Form and return as an attachment to our email address at ntgpg@hotmail.co.uk
The North Thames Graduate Psychologists' Group is a group for psychology graduates, or those on a graduate diploma, who are working in or interested in working in psychology (e.g. as an Assistant Psychologist), with a view to pursuing a career in Clinical Psychology. For this reason, we ask for degree subject, BPS membership/GBR, job title and interest in applying for the Doctorate. This way, we can gain the best indication of the backgrounds and interests of our members so that we can represent their needs in future meetings.
Since the group is for graduates, we are unfortunately unable to accept undergraduate applications for membership. If you are an undergraduate, we recommend that you find the most suitable support system during your university course, although we would be happy to consider you for membership once you graduate.
If this is the case, please indicate when you are expected to graduate on the form, as we will keep you on a Reserve List so that you can participate fully once graduated (although it would be a good idea to contact us nearer the time).
All the information will be stored electronically simply for reference for future NTGPG committees and will not be used externally with third parties. Members have the option to 'opt out' of membership, if they wish to withdraw their email address.
